PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COUNSELLOR

There are times when life can feel too overwhelming to navigate on our own. Therapy can provide reassurance and support. It can help you to start living a more fulfilling life.

I offer counselling sessions face to face, online or by phone.

My therapy practice is located in Southfields, Wandsworth, South West London SW18. I have a second therapy practice location in the Putney and Fulham area, SW6.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

WHY COME FOR THERAPY?

There may be many reasons why you might be considering therapy. Maybe you’re feeling out of sorts, or just not yourself. You could be experiencing anxiety and depression. Maybe recent events or past traumas are making it hard for you to cope. You might feel lonely, be experiencing difficulties in a current relationship, worrying about work, or are struggling to connect with others. Perhaps you cannot put your finger on the nature of the problem, but your life isn’t going the way you’d hoped.

The thought of seeing a counsellor for the first time can feel daunting.  It might feel unsettling to talk about particular problems or anxieties that have never been spoken about before. Overtime, a problem left unaddressed can sometimes become increasingly challenging and this is where talking to a counsellor can help.

Counselling provides a nurturing environment where you can reflect on and talk about your difficulties. This often leads to a better and deeper understanding of yourself and why you sometimes get stuck. I can help you to explore your concerns which, in turn, can help you find new ways of dealing with your problems, make different life choices, and find a way forward.
